Comment From A Family Member.

This past weekend was a big weekend in our community, lot's of things and events going on. At one event we sat down to eat BBQ next to a cousin and his wife. They are about mid to late 70's. His asked if we wanted more kids and I said we'd like at least one more. He then said (knowing that we met K's birthmom and spent a few days with her when K was born) you should see if the biomom ever gets pregnant again and you can adopt it too. What the heck? I know he's from another generation. I get that. I didn't say anything to him. He seemed to be under the impression that all birthmom's are drug addicted sluts. This surprises me considering that his younger sisiter had three children and was not married when she had them and they all three had different fathers. She raised them. Never married the fathers. It made me wonder what he really thought of his sister. This was back in the late 1930's and early 1940's--when girls were sent "away" and came back months later -with no baby and never talked about where they had been.

I am so angry that he said that. He doesn't even know her or what the situation was. How could he make such a careless statement in the joking way he did? Thank God Khloe is only 6 months old and does not understand what he was saying. What the heck do you say without making a scene? M was perfectly capable of raising Khloe. She already has three wonderful children. She's is graduating next month from college and still healing from the death of her husband and father to those three children and the circumstances of how Khloe came to be. She's been thru a heck of a lot in the last two years and has done an unbelievable job of keeping it together considering everything. She's unbelievably strong.

I'll end with some sweetness. After two whole days of BBQ's, wandering up and down crafter booths, a car show and parade she was worn out! She's such a trooper she never fusses, she just takes it all in.

It's Impossible That She's 6 Months Old!

But she is as of last Friday. J and I took her in for her pictures and they turned out way better than we could even have imagined. She is daddy's little rockstar! The guitar is one of daddy's--so glad we brought it in. The sunglasses are the surprise last minute thing I pulled out of my purse and it just worked!
